Baron Altohtaro Armand was a ruler of wisdom and integrity, a noble who upheld justice in his Barony with an even hand. He was a protector of the people, ensuring that both commoners and nobility thrived under his watch. A master of Celestial magic, his power was a guiding light, warding off darkness and maintaining order in a land where ambition often turned to tyranny.
Though he and Baron Helbrass often found themselves at odds—disagreeing on matters of governance, tradition, and the future of Tel’Vania—they shared a common purpose: the betterment of the land. When disputes arose, their clashes were fierce, but through tempered wisdom and begrudging respect, they found paths forward that strengthened the realm rather than divided it.
But fate was not so kind. Summoned by the Empress to the Plateau of Crowns, Altohtaro was drawn to her in order to end the war. What transpired in the halls of the Empress remains shrouded in whispers, but when he returned, he was not the same. The just and fair Baron was gone, replaced by something… twisted. The Celestial master who once protected his people had become something else entirely—an agent of an unseen force, his once-bright magic tainted by the Blight.
In the end, it was his own Squire, Storm, who had to make the terrible choice. Knowing that his Baron was lost, that the man he once swore to serve may never return, Storm raised the Staff of Dragon Mages Past and did what had to be done. With grief in his heart and duty in his hands, he struck the killing blow—not out of malice, but as an act of mercy. Baron Altohtaro Armand, the Just, the Protector, the Master of Celestial Magic, fell—not to an enemy’s blade, but to the only one who still loved him enough to let him go.

Dockton, the 1st District of Tel’Vania, is a rough and lawless sprawl where the scent of salt and blood clings to the air. A haven for dockhands, smugglers, and cutthroats, Dockton is ruled not only by noble decree but by fists, loyalty, and reputation. At the heart of this underworld stands the Docktown Boyz, known infamously as The Facebreakers—a name well-earned through their brutal enforcement of territory with fists, clubs, and sheer force of will.
Their leader, Squire Camden Mcal, is a man caught between two worlds. Though sworn as a squire to Baron Locke Helbrass, he holds dominion over the streets of Dockton for its Tempoary Lord, Baron Helbrass, commanding the gang with the same discipline and authority expected of a knight. His daughter fights alongside him, proving her worth in the brawls and back-alley skirmishes that define the district. His brother Ivan serves as his right hand, a ruthless enforcer ensuring their rule remains unchallenged. Meanwhile, the Rat Wilderkin Ick-Spit skitters through the shadows, gathering secrets and striking from the dark.
In a city where the nobility command armies and wage political war, the Facebreakers remind all of Tel’Vania that true power isn't always written in royal decrees—it’s earned in the streets, one tooth collected at a time for the Lord of Dockton.

What is Farmer Dan? No one truly knows. When the adventurers glimpsed the future through twisted magic and fractured time, they were shocked to find Farmer Dan—alive, well, and somehow over 100 years old.
Still tending his herd of guinea pigs.
Still mumbling about “them damn geese.”
Still wearing the same straw hat.
Even more baffling? His prize stud guinea pig was also alive and well—fat, majestic, and somehow just as ageless. Was Dan merely a stubborn old man with impossibly good luck? A powerful entity disguised as a humble breeder? An eternal shepherd of small, squeaky livestock?
No one can say. And when pressed for answers, Farmer Dan simply snorted and muttered: "Ain’t got time for questions, boy. Them pigs don’t herd themselves."
Whether man, myth, or something more… Farmer Dan endures. And so does his prize stud.

The Blight of Tel’Vania was a cataclysm of unparalleled devastation, an unnatural scourge that twisted the land and shattered the kingdom’s foundations. Its origins lay within the Crack, a rift of unknown depth and sinister purpose, from which seeped a miasma of corruption that defied mortal understanding. Cities withered, the dead refused to rest, and monstrous abominations crawled forth to claim dominion over the ruins. Even now, scars of the Blight remain—cursed wastelands, haunted echoes of the past, and secrets buried in the darkness beneath Tel’Vania’s fragile peace.
The Empress, once revered as Tel’Vania’s savior, was, in truth, an agent of the Blight—a puppet of the dread dragon Nox, the great shadow lurking beyond the Crack. With honeyed words and ruthless decrees, she wove a grand deception, convincing her people that magic was the source of their suffering. She outlawed its practice, branding spellcasters as heretics and traitors, all while secretly feeding Nox’s hunger for dominion. In truth, it was not magic that threatened Tel’Vania, but her own hand, guiding the kingdom into chains forged in fear and ignorance. By the time her treachery was revealed, the damage had already been done—the land was broken, its true defenders hunted, and the Blight’s grip tightened evermore.

Theo, daughter of Camden Mcal, was forged in the brutal alleys of Dockton, where fists build reputations and fear keeps order. Though raised under the bloody banner of the Facebreakers, Theo has grown into something far more than just her father’s heir. Quietly uncertain of her worth as a leader, she often doubts the strength others see in her. But time and again, when things fall apart, she steps forward—steady, commanding, and unshakable. Baron Helbrass has seen her rise firsthand, from her calm command in the chaos of Dockton to the greater battles beyond. Theo was instrumental in the removal of the Empress from power on the Plateau of Crowns, rallying resistance and holding together the fractured frontlines when others faltered. And during the Siege on the outpost in Chalmaria, it was Theo who held the line against the corrupted prince, refusing to yield even as the world twisted around her. She may not see it yet, but the streets, the Barons, and the battlefield know: Theo is a leader in the making.
→Journal Entry 4223: “I’m not my father. Camden Mcal casts a long shadow in Dockton, and most folks assume I just walk in it. Truth is, I’ve never been sure I’m meant to lead. I fight. I think fast. I keep people alive when things go sideways. But leading? That’s different. That’s weight. Still… when the Empress had her claws in the Plateau of Crowns, I stood my ground. Helped pull her down with the rest of ‘em. When the outpost in Chalmaria was burning and that twisted prince came for us, I didn’t break—I held the line. Not because I wanted glory. Because someone had to. And no one else moved. Baron Helbrass says I’ve got it in me. Maybe he’s right. Maybe not. But when things fall apart, I’ll be there, fists up, blood pumping. Whether I like it or not, people follow that. So I lead. Even if I’m still figuring out how.”

The Violet Roses are not a faction. They are not just a team. They are a family, rooted in Chalameria and grown through bonds formed across the mists and distant lands. Their home is Thorne Keep, a place where their hearth, history, and hearts come together. Those adopted into the Violet Rose family are affectionately called buds, and like any bloom, it takes time (about a year) for them to fully flourish.
This time of growth is not a test, but a season of belonging. During that time, buds are nurtured, supported, and protected until they bloom into full members of the family. The Violet Roses fight together, dine together, and share in each other’s joys and hardships. Each member brings their own strengths, whether in battle, healing, crafting, or simply in reminding others to rest and eat. Above all else, they value freedom, family, and fierce compassion.
The Violet Roses are like a garden, tended with patience, love, and care. Every member is a unique bloom, vibrant and necessary in their own way. Yet a garden does not thrive on flowers alone. It also needs strong soil, clean water, sunlight, shade, and the balance of nature around it. That surrounding forest represents the wider world of Cerenys Outpost and Chalameria as a whole.
Friends, allies, and even those who do not wear the Rose are all part of what helps the garden flourish. The Violet Roses care deeply not only for each other, but for others as well. This is what gives them strength. Of course, there have been thorns. There have been storms, seasons of loss, and moments of doubt. But like any well-tended garden, the Violet Roses recover, grow stronger, and continue to spread their roots.
Their foundation is deep, and their presence continues to blossom. Nightshade’s End, founded by the original members of the Violet Roses, is now a true family-run business and one of the warmest gathering places in the Cerenys Outpost. More than just a tavern, it embodies the heart of the Roses’ hospitality. Every member has a hand in making it a place of comfort, laughter, and belonging. All are welcome, whether they wear a Rose or not. Visitors are invited to share stories, enjoy a hearty meal, and feel the genuine care that defines the Violet Roses.
It is where strangers are welcomed with open arms, and where new buds find space to bloom.
